About the Winery
Château Pech de Jammes is a 5-hectare estate on the Causse de Cahors that once belonged to minister Bernard Pons. After being abandoned, Thomas Chardard, a former automotive executive, acquired it in 2009 with technical guidance from renowned winemaker Bertrand-Gabriel Vigouroux. The vineyard is planted in an amphitheater-shaped clos oriented due south, surrounded by traditional dry-stone walls. The estate focuses on elegant Malbec wines from Cahors, along with truffle cultivation and saffron production.
