About the Winery
Founded in 1920 by Eugène Delarue, Domaine de la Perrée (the name meaning 'stone' in old French) has been passed down through four generations. Today, Patrice Delarue and his daughter Azéline, who joined in 2014, manage the 14-hectare estate in organic conversion. The vineyards are planted on gravel and sand terroirs in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, producing fruity, round wines from Cabernet Franc. The estate offers free tastings and is part of the Vignerons Indépendants du Val de Loire.
“A four-generation family estate since 1920, producing Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil from 14 organic hectares.”
