About the Winery
La Célestière was taken over in 2008 by Béatrice and Neil Joyce and renamed from its former name, La Glacière. After extensive renovations including the creation of new winemaking and aging cellars, the estate now produces wines under IGP and AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape, certified organic since 2013. The 10-hectare estate features old vines planted between 1918 and 1920, with Grenache as the signature grape variety. The wines are aged primarily in concrete tanks and foudres with minimal oak influence.
