About the Winery
After Bernard Cousseau retired in 2014, Vincent Barré took over La Papinière, a 45-hectare estate on a hill between the Braudière stream and the Sanguèze in the eastern Nantes vineyard. The estate has been certified HVE since 2018. Vincent also runs the nearby Domaine de la Chignardière. Together, the estates produce Muscadet Sèvre et Maine and other Loire Valley wines from diverse terroirs at the edge of the Mauges region.
