About the Winery
Born in 1950 from the union of the Brun and Charavin families, Domaine du Trapadis is a certified organic and biodynamic estate spanning 35 hectares in Rasteau, Cairanne, and Roaix. Helen Durand has led the estate since 1996, focusing on terroir-driven wines with minimal intervention. The name 'Trapadis' comes from the Provençal word for 'hole,' referring to an ancient underground gallery near the winery. The estate practices organic farming since 2010 and received biodynamic certification in 2012, producing powerful yet fresh wines that reflect the Southern Rhône terroir.
“A 35-hectare organic and biodynamic estate in Rasteau since 1950, producing terroir-driven wines with minimal intervention.”
