Champagne Bauser

About the Winery

Founded in 1975 by René Bauser, Champagne Bauser is a family estate in Les Riceys, the only commune in Champagne to hold three appellations: Champagne, Rose des Riceys, and Coteaux Champenois. The estate spans 20 hectares, primarily planted with Pinot Noir, the signature grape of Les Riceys. Since 2000, the three children—Sophie, Frédéric, and Sébastien—have taken over, bringing their expertise in commerce, viticulture, and oenology. The house uses diverse vinification methods including amphorae, barrels, foudres, and stainless steel tanks, and is certified HVE.
