Domaine Bachelier
About the Winery
Domaine Bachelier is a family estate in Villy, near Chablis in northern Burgundy. The estate produces wines across the Chablis appellations, from Petit Chablis to Chablis and Chablis Premier Cru. The vineyards are planted exclusively with Chardonnay on the region's famous Kimmeridgian limestone soils, which are rich in marine fossils and give Chablis its distinctive mineral character. The Bachelier family practices sustainable viticulture and traditional winemaking methods, including fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and purity of the Chardonnay grape. Their wines are known for their crisp acidity, flinty minerality, and notes of green apple, citrus, and white flowers.
“A family estate crafting classic Chablis wines from Kimmeridgian limestone terroir.”
