La Chablisienne

Chablis, Yonne, France

About the Winery

La Chablisienne is one of the most prominent cooperative wineries in Burgundy, founded in 1923 and bringing together around 300 winegrowers cultivating approximately 1,200 hectares of vineyards. Based in Chablis, the cooperative produces wines across the full hierarchy of Chablis appellations, from Petit Chablis through Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, and up to the prestigious Grand Crus including Les Clos, Vaudésir, Grenouilles, and Les Preuses. The wines are crafted exclusively from Chardonnay grown on the region's famous Kimmeridgian limestone soils, which give Chablis its distinctive mineral character, flinty aromas, and remarkable aging potential. La Chablisienne combines the traditions of Chablis winemaking with modern techniques to produce wines that are celebrated worldwide for their purity and precision.

A historic cooperative of 300 growers crafting benchmark Chablis wines from Premier Cru to Grand Cru vineyards.
