About the Winery

Yves Hordé is a wine producer in Port-Lesney, in the Arbois appellation of the Jura region. The Jura is one of France's most distinctive wine regions, known for its unique winemaking traditions including the oxidative Vin Jaune aged under a veil of yeast, and the sweet Vin de Paille. Yves Hordé crafts wines from the region's traditional grape varieties including Savagnin, Chardonnay, Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir. The vineyards in this area benefit from the Jura's continental climate and the complex mix of marl, limestone, and clay soils that give the wines their characteristic minerality and complexity.
