About the Winery

Christian Morin is a wine producer in Chitry, a small village in the northern Burgundy region near Chablis. The wines of Chitry are produced in both white (from Chardonnay) and red (from Pinot Noir) versions under the Bourgogne Chitry appellation. The vineyards are planted on the region's characteristic Kimmeridgian limestone soils with fossilized oysters, which give the white wines their distinctive minerality and freshness. Christian Morin crafts wines that express the purity and precision typical of the northern Burgundy terroir.
