Les Quatre Tours
About the Winery
Les Quatre Tours is a cooperative cellar in Venelles, in the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation of Provence. The cooperative was founded in 1934 and today brings together around forty winegrowers cultivating approximately 600 hectares of vines. The name 'Quatre Tours' (Four Towers) references the historic towers that dot the landscape of the region. The cooperative produces a range of wines including the classic pale, dry Roses for which Provence is world-famous, as well as reds and whites. The Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation benefits from a Mediterranean climate with influences from the Mistral wind, and the vineyards are planted on varied soils including limestone, clay, and sandy soils.
“A historic cooperative in Provence crafting acclaimed Roses, reds, and whites from 600 hectares of vines.”
