About the Winery

Domaine des Remizières is a family-run estate in Mercurol, in the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation in the Northern Rhône Valley. The domaine has been passed down through generations, with Philippe and Sophie Caban overseeing operations today. They cultivate vineyards on the terroirs of Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, and Hermitage, producing wines that reflect the distinctive granite and clay-limestone soils of the region. Their portfolio includes powerful, expressive reds made primarily from Syrah, as well as elegant whites from Marsanne and Roussanne. The estate is known for its meticulous vineyard work and traditional winemaking approach, resulting in wines of great purity and terroir expression.
