Domaine Zinck
About the Winery
Philippe Zinck, joined by Pascale, took over in 1997 the estate founded in 1964 by his father Paul around the medieval citadel of Eguisheim. He first practised lutte raisonnée before gradually adopting organic farming from 2011, and began biodynamic conversion in 2018 (certified Ecocert and Demeter since 2021). The domain now cultivates 17 hectares with three wine ranges: 'Portrait' (fruit-driven from light soils), 'Terroirs' (lieu-dit wines from clay-limestone soils), and 'Grand Crus' (from clay, limestone and sandstone soils with dominant minerality). They also produce Crémant d'Alsace brut and brut Rose. All harvesting is done by hand.
“An organic and biodynamic estate in Eguisheim since 1964, with 17 hectares and wines from three terroir ranges including Grand Crus.”
