Champagne jean-jacques Lamoureux
About the Winery
Champagne Jean-Jacques Lamoureux is in Les Riceys, the largest vineyard in Champagne (866 hectares), uniquely entitled to three AOCs: Champagne, Coteaux Champenois and Rose des Riceys. René Lamoureux planted his first vines in 1947, followed by his son Jean-Jacques who developed the cuvées. Today, his son Vivien, an oenologist, continues the family expertise. The 12-hectare estate is certified HVE and produces champagnes that reflect the Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils of the Côte des Bar. Their range includes Cuvée Trilogie (three grape varieties), Cuvée Réserve, Cuvée Rose, and the famous Rose des Riceys still wine, historically known as the favourite of King Louis XIV.
“A 3rd-generation estate in Les Riceys with 12 hectares, certified HVE, producing Champagne, Coteaux Champenois and the renowned Rose des Riceys.”
