About the Winery

Rémi Duchemin took over Le Plan de l'Homme (originally Plan de l'Om) in 2009. After making his reputation at Mas Mortiès in Pic Saint-Loup, he now works between the red hills and black basalt pebbles of the Terrasses du Larzac, producing highly expressive wines on 12 very fragmented hectares certified organic. His white wines are made from Roussanne with a little Grenache Blanc, and his reds from Syrah and Grenache. The altitude of 250 metres and the cooling effect of the Larzac plateau give his wines remarkable freshness. The estate name was changed from Plan de l'Om to Plan de l'Homme to avoid football associations.
