About the Winery

Château La Vivonne, created in 1904, is situated on the heights of the medieval village of Le Castellet between sea and mountain, in the heart of the Bandol vineyard. The estate covers 25 hectares (13 ha in AOP Bandol and 12 ha in AOP Côtes de Provence). Since Michel Benhaim acquired it in 2011, the estate has undergone modernisation while maintaining traditional Bandol practices: manual harvesting, ploughing without herbicides, disbudding and fruit thinning to leave only one bunch per vine shoot. No pesticides or synthetic fertilisers since 1987, HVE 3 certified since 2020, and conversion to organic farming began in 2021. The estate is renowned for its collection of old vintages dating back to 1979 and has one of the finest red wine shops in Bandol.
