Earl domaine de la Touraize
About the Winery
Domaine de la Touraize is a natural wine domain in Arbois, Jura, run by André-Jean and Héléana Morin. André-Jean is the eighth generation of Morin winemakers, with family records dating back to 1704. After selling grapes to the cooperative for years, he left in 2009 to bottle his own production. The estate manages 12 hectares of vineyards in the historic Arbois AOC terroir, cultivating all the Jura grape varieties: Chardonnay, Savagnin, Ploussard (Poulsard), Trousseau, and Pinot Noir. Certified organic since 2016 and biodynamic (Demeter) since 2019, their wines are made with wild yeast fermentation and no chaptalisation. The domain is known for wines like La Cabane Poulsard and Les Voisines Chardonnay.
“An 8th-generation organic and biodynamic estate in Arbois, Jura, producing natural wines from all five Jura grape varieties since 2009.”
