About the Winery
Founded in 1936 by Gabriel Meffre and his wife in Gigondas, Maison Gabriel Meffre has become an essential producer and négociant-éleveur in the Southern Rhône Valley. The house owns 800 hectares of vines across the Rhône Valley and Provence. Acquired in 2009 by Éric Brousse, partnered with the Burgundy-based Boisset group, the estate is known for its Gigondas Sainte-Catherine and other Rhône appellations. Their wines are crafted with respect for terroir, combining traditional expertise with modern sustainable practices. The estate offers wine tourism activities including vineyard visits and tastings at their domain in Gigondas.
