About the Winery

Domaine Davanture is a wine estate in Saint-Désert, in the Côte Chalonnaise region of southern Burgundy. The Côte Chalonnaise is known for producing excellent value Burgundy wines from appellations such as Rully, Mercurey, Givry, and Montagny. The region shares the same limestone and clay soils as the more famous Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, producing wines of similar character at more accessible prices. Domaine Davanture produces wines that express the typicity of this underappreciated Burgundy region.
