Champagne Chassenay d'Arce
About the Winery
Champagne Chassenay d'Arce is a Champagne house located in Ville-sur-Arce in the Côte des Bar, the southernmost subregion of Champagne. Founded in 1956 as a cooperative of growers, the house brings together the production of numerous small growers in the area. The Côte des Bar is known for its Kimmeridgian limestone soils, similar to those in Chablis, and for producing Pinot Noir of exceptional quality. Chassenay d'Arce produces a range of champagnes that showcase the character of the Côte des Bar, with a focus on Pinot Noir-based wines. The house has modern facilities and is committed to sustainable viticulture practices across its member vineyards.
“A grower cooperative in the Côte des Bar producing Pinot Noir-focused champagnes from Kimmeridgian limestone soils.”
