Château Monbrison
About the Winery
Château Monbrison is an estate located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, in the commune of Arsac. The château has a long history dating back to the 18th century and was classified as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel. The estate produces elegant, refined red wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, typical of the Margaux appellation. The vineyards are planted on the gravelly soils (tertre) that characterize the Médoc, with a significant proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon that gives the wines their structure and aging potential. The château was acquired by the de Coninck family in the 20th century, who have continued to invest in the estate's quality and reputation.
“A Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in Margaux producing elegant, Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant wines from gravelly Médoc terroir.”
