Danjean-Berthoux is a family estate located in Jambles in the Côte Chalonnaise subregion of Burgundy. The domaine produces wines from several appellations including Givry, Mercurey, and Bourgogne, working primarily with Pinot Noir for reds and Chardonnay for whites. The vineyards are planted on the limestone and marl soils that characterize the Côte Chalonnaise, giving the wines their distinctive mineral character. The Danjean-Berthoux family has been making wine in the region for generations, maintaining a commitment to traditional Burgundian winemaking techniques.
