Lou Bassaquet is a wine producer located in Trets, at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain near Aix-en-Provence. The estate produces wines from the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation, benefiting from the iconic Provencal landscape that inspired painters like Cézanne. The vineyards are planted on limestone and clay soils, with a climate influenced by both Mediterranean warmth and the Mistral wind. The estate produces red, white, and Rose wines typical of Provence, working with grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and Vermentino (Rolle). The wines reflect the beauty and character of this celebrated corner of Provence.
