Château la Tour de Mons
About the Winery
Château la Tour de Mons is a historic estate located in Soussans in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux. The château dates back to the 13th century, with the distinctive tower that gives the estate its name serving as a landmark in the Médoc landscape. The estate produces Margaux wines from classic Bordeaux grape varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The vineyards are planted on the gravelly soils (tertre) characteristic of the Margaux appellation, which contribute to the elegance and finesse of the wines. The estate has been owned by the Bussiere family since 1995, who have invested significantly in modernizing the vineyards and cellars while respecting the traditions of Médoc winemaking.
“A historic Margaux estate with a 13th-century tower, producing elegant wines from gravelly Médoc terroir.”
