Krug

About the Winery
Champagne Krug is one of the most prestigious Champagne houses, founded in 1843 by Johann-Joseph Krug in Reims. The house is renowned for its uncompromising pursuit of excellence and its unique approach to Champagne production. Unlike most houses that blend to create a consistent house style, Krug creates each champagne as a unique expression of the vintage. The house produces five distinct champagnes: Grande Cuvée (its flagship multi-vintage), Rose, Vintage, Clos du Mesnil (100% Chardonnay from a single walled vineyard), and Clos d'Ambonnay (100% Pinot Noir from a single walled vineyard). Krug is part of the LVMH luxury group and continues to be one of the most sought-after and collectible Champagnes in the world, known for its extraordinary complexity, richness, and aging potential.
