Domaine Baron
About the Winery
Domaine Baron is a family estate of 16 hectares (expanded to 17 hectares) in the Loire Valley, which Samuel Baron joined in 2002 and took over in 2011. He left the cooperative system, built a winery in 2003, and engaged organic conversion in 2011 (certified Ecocert since 2014). Located in Thésée in the Cher Valley, the domaine produces wines from the Touraine and Touraine Chenonceaux appellations. Their range includes red wines from Pineau d'Aunis, Côt (Malbec), and Cabernet Franc, as well as white wines from Sauvignon Blanc. The estate was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2025 Concours Mondial des Vins Biologiques.
