About the Winery

Domaine du Bourgeais was created in 1992 near Vertou, south of Nantes in the Loire Valley. The 40-hectare estate is managed by Édith, Pierrick, and Clément Albert. Concerned about their environmental impact, the family began converting to organic agriculture in 2020. The estate produces wines from the Nantes wine region, including Muscadet Côtes de Grand Lieu and other Loire Valley appellations. Their approach emphasizes respect for the terroir and sustainable viticulture, with a focus on the Melon de Bourgogne grape typical of the Muscadet region.
