About the Winery
Bernard Haegelin began bottling his wines in 1976. Since 1992, he has passed the reins to his sons Christian and Michel. The brothers cultivate approximately 11 hectares south of the Alsace Wine Route, notably on the dry Bollenberg hill and the Pfingstberg slopes. After experimenting with sustainable practices, they adopted biodynamic viticulture in 2005. The estate produces a range of Alsace wines including Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Muscat, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Crémant d'Alsace, as well as Grand Cru wines from Pfingstberg and Vendanges Tardives.
“An Orschwihr estate with 11 hectares farmed biodynamically since 2005, producing wines from Bollenberg and Pfingstberg terroirs.”
