Boulard-Bauquaire
About the Winery
Champagne Boulard-Bauquaire was established in 1963 by Denis Boulard in Cormicy, the most northerly village in the Champagne appellation, northwest of Reims on the Massif de Saint-Thierry. The estate was passed to his son Christophe in 2005, who cultivates more than 7 hectares in this sector and in Trépail in the Montagne de Reims. The family are eighth-generation farmers in the region. The estate is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) Level 3 and produces Champagne from 47% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay, and 20% Meunier. Their cuvées include Premier Cru and Grand Cru Champagnes, Blanc de Noirs, and Rose de Saignée.
“An eighth-generation family estate in northern Champagne since 1963, certified HVE, cultivating 7+ hectares.”
