Domaine Carcenac
About the Winery
Domaine Carcenac is a passionate family estate in the heart of the Gaillac appellation, located in the small village of Montans with Gallo-Roman remains. Seven generations of the Carcenac family have cultivated vines here. Today, Joseph, Nicole, and their son Cédric Carcenac manage 70 hectares across the three Gaillac terroir types: gravelly, clay-gravel, and clay-limestone. The estate is certified HVE (High Environmental Value) and produces a wide range of wines including Gaillac red, white, Rose, sparkling (méthode traditionnelle), and sweet wines, as well as IGP Comté Tolosan. The domaine also hosts events, concerts, and offers oenology courses.
