About the Winery

Château de Montmirail is a historic estate at the site of a former thermal spa known for its sulfurous and magnesium waters. The 47-hectare domaine has been managed by the Archimbaud family for four generations and is a reliable producer in the Vacqueyras and Gigondas appellations. The vineyard extends across the communes of Vacqueyras and Gigondas, benefiting from the diverse terroirs at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The estate produces wines that express the richness of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grown on clay-limestone soils with rolled pebbles.
