About the Winery
The Scherb family has been rooted in Alsace since the Middle Ages, established in Gueberschwihr since 1690. Louis Scherb sold his wine in barrels before the war, and his sons Joseph and André developed bottle sales in the 1970s. The third generation, with Agnès Burner and her husband Antoine, has managed the estate since 2003, cultivating 13 hectares with organic certification since 2013. The domaine produces wines from Alsace AOC, Alsace Grand Cru Goldert, and Crémant d'Alsace appellations. Their range includes Auxerrois, Edelzwicker, Gewurztraminer, Muscat, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sylvaner, and Vendanges Tardives.
