8, pl. Charles-de-Gaulle, 68420 Eguisheim, France

About the Winery

Domaine Paul Ginglinger was founded in 1610 in Eguisheim, a medieval village south of Colmar in Alsace. Michel Ginglinger, son of Paul and a graduate oenologist, took over in 2002 after working as a master winemaker in Burgundy, South Africa, and Chile. The 13-hectare estate includes parcels in two Grand Crus (Eichberg and Pfersigberg) and achieved organic certification in 2018. The domaine produces the full range of Alsace varietal wines including Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Crémant d'Alsace. The wines are known for their purity, finesse, concentration, and authentic expression of terroir.
