About the Winery

Domaine du Haut Montlong traces its origins to 1925 as a 6-hectare sharecropping arrangement. The second generation purchased the vines in 1950 and gradually expanded to today's 75 hectares on the heights of Pomport near Bergerac. Alain Sergenton managed the estate from 1983 before passing the reins to the fourth generation. His daughter Laurence and son-in-law Philippe Métifet acquired the property in 2017 and converted it to organic farming. The estate produces Monbazillac (sweet white), Bergerac (red, white, Rose), Côtes de Bergerac, and Vin de France, reflecting the diversity of terroirs on the Bergerac hillsides.

A 75-hectare estate on the heights of Pomport, producing Monbazillac and Bergerac wines, converted to organic in 2017.
