Aux Pargers
About the Winery
Aux Pargers is a family estate of 64 hectares in the Petite Champagne cognac region, with origins dating back to 1874. For many years, the property was dedicated to cereal farming and cattle raising alongside cognac distillation for the major houses, including Hennessy. In 2015, Emmanuel Barboteau and his partner Estèle transformed the estate by building their own cellar and launching their own production. They produce Cognac, Pineau des Charentes, wines, sparkling grape juice, and liqueurs. The estate is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE). The name 'Aux Pargers' refers to the stone curlew (a local bird species).
“A historic 64-hectare estate in Petite Champagne, producing Cognac and Pineau des Charentes since 2015 under the Barboteau family.”
