About the Winery

Domaine Roger Billard is a 9-hectare family estate in the Savoie wine region, situated on the scree slopes of Mont Granier near the town of Les Marches (Porte-de-Savoie). The property has been in the family for generations, inherited by Roger Billard from his great-grandfather. The domaine produces wines from several Savoie appellations including AOP Savoie, Roussette de Savoie, and Apremont. The wines are made from traditional Savoie grape varieties including Jacquère, Altesse (for Roussette), Chardonnay, Gamay, and Mondeuse. The steep vineyard slopes and alpine climate contribute to the fresh, mineral character of their wines.
