About the Winery

Château de Javernand is a family estate in the Beaujolais crus region, certified organic and a pioneer in agroecology and agroforestry. Located on the heights of Chiroubles at 430 meters altitude in a beautiful sheltered valley, the domaine extends over 10 hectares of vines in the Chiroubles appellation, complemented by 3 hectares in the southern Mâconnais (Mâcon-Serrières). The main terroir features pink granite slopes that produce elegant and balanced Chiroubles with beautiful freshness. The estate also produces Mâcon-Villages, Bourgogne Blanc, Mâcon Pinot Noir, Rose, natural sparkling wine, and Crémant de Bourgogne. Winemaking uses indigenous yeasts with careful attention to finesse.
