Château Laroche
About the Winery
Château Laroche is a historic wine estate in the Bordeaux region, led since 1994 by Roland de Onffroy, an agronomic engineer trained in Angers. The estate spans 34 hectares across the Bourgeais and Blayais regions, producing wines under several labels including Laroche and Bourg des Eyquems in Tauriac, Monseigneur in Pugnac, and Clos Bertin in Cézac. The property sits on a former fort from the Hundred Years' War that was destroyed and rebuilt multiple times throughout history. The domaine produces AOC Côtes de Bourg and AOC Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux wines, with a focus on traditional Bordeaux grape varieties.
