About the Winery

Domaine J.F. Maréchal is located on the heights of Apremont in Savoie. Jean-François Maréchal established the domaine at age 18 and manages approximately 10 hectares of hillside vineyards. The domaine's small size allows him to control all operations from vineyard work through vinification to commercialization. Jean-François is committed to vine culture that respects the terroir and environment. Vinification takes place in his own cellars, built by his hands, with a focus on gravity flow of juices and temperature control during fermentation. The estate produces Apremont and other Savoie wines from Jacquère and other local grape varieties, with wines known for their finesse and freshness. Each year the domaine organizes the 'Rencontre des Terroirs' event with fellow winemakers.
