About the Winery

Domaine Roger & Didier Raimbault is a family estate in the Sancerre appellation. The Raimbault family has been making wine in the Sancerre region since the mid-17th century, though its modern history began in 1960. Starting with just 2 hectares cultivated with a horse and a small tribe of goats, the family gradually acquired land, reaching 6.5 hectares by 1996 when Didier joined his father Roger. Today they work 17.5 hectares spread over 51 different parcels. The estate produces three white wines from Sauvignon Blanc, as well as two reds and a Rose from Pinot Noir. Their Sancerre Blanc is a blend of wines from two soil types: 'terres blanches' (white soils) giving power and smoothness, and 'caillottes' (limestone gravel) providing fruit and aromatic finesse.

A Sancerre family estate with roots dating to the 17th century, now with 17.5 hectares across 51 parcels producing wines from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
