About the Winery

Domaine Pierre Morey was founded in 1971 in Meursault, Burgundy. Pierre Morey, who was also the régisseur of Domaine Leflaive from 1988 to 2008, has been a pioneer of organic and biodynamic viticulture in Burgundy. The family has been living in Meursault since 1793 and has always been involved in wine. The domaine totals 10 hectares spanning Meursault, Monthélie, Pommard, Volnay, and Puligny-Montrachet, with Grand Cru holdings in Bâtard-Montrachet and Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet. In 1992, Pierre created Morey-Blanc with his daughter Anne. The estate has been certified organic since 1992 and biodynamic since 1998, producing some of the most sought-after white Burgundy wines.
