About the Winery
Thierry Bousquet is a vigneron in Lasseube, in the Jurançon wine region of Southwest France. The estate produces wines from Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng, the two principal grape varieties of the Jurançon appellation. The vineyards are planted on steep hillsides at the foot of the Pyrenees, benefiting from a unique microclimate with warm days and cool nights that concentrates the sugars in the grapes. The domaine crafts both dry and sweet Jurançon wines, the latter being made from late-harvested Petit Manseng grapes with exceptional aromatic richness.
“A Jurançon vigneron crafting wines from Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng on steep Pyrenean hillsides with a unique microclimate.”
