About the Winery

Domaine du Puits Faucon is located in Mareuil, in the Charente-Maritime department of the Cognac region. The estate produces wines in the Charentais tradition, including Pineau des Charentes and Cognac. The vineyards of the Charente benefit from a mild oceanic climate and limestone soils, ideal for producing the Ugni Blanc grapes used in Cognac and Pineau production. The domaine represents the traditional viticulture of the Charente region with its centuries-old tradition of producing fortified wines and spirits.
