About the Winery

Vignobles Berthier is a family estate located in Pouilly-sur-Loire and Sancerre in the Loire Valley. The domaine has a long family tradition of winemaking spanning several generations. The estate produces wines from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir in the Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé appellations, as well as Pouilly-sur-Loire wines from the Chasselas grape variety. The vineyards benefit from the unique terroir of the Loire Valley with its Kimmeridgian marl, limestone, and flint soils that give the wines their characteristic minerality and elegance.
