Domaine Vapillon is located in Poligny, in the Jura wine region. The estate produces wines from the classic Jura grape varieties including Chardonnay and Savagnin for whites, and Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir for reds. The Jura region is known for its unique winemaking styles including oxidative vin jaune and straw wines. The vineyards around Poligny benefit from marl and limestone soils typical of the region, producing wines with distinctive character and aging potential.
