About the Winery

Château de Vaux is located in Molzay in the small Côtes de Meuse vineyard in Lorraine. Built in the 16th century, the château was the former residence of André Charles de Séraucourt, governor of Verdun under Louis XVI. The property extends over 27 hectares in a single block, with 18 hectares under vine. The wines are aged in the 17th-century vaulted cellars carved into the rock beneath the château. The estate has won numerous medals at the Paris, Strasbourg, and Brussels General Agricultural Shows. Château de Vaux produces a range of wines from 100% estate-grown grapes including wines aged in new French oak barrels. Today it is home to an estate farm, a brewery, and the château hosts art exhibitions throughout the year.
