Champagne Morel Père et Fils
About the Winery
Champagne Morel Père et Fils is a family of artisan winegrowers for five generations in Les Riceys, the largest winegrowing village in Champagne with over 860 hectares of vines. Pascal Morel took over the family vineyard in 1973, and the estate today covers 8 hectares. The domaine is a specialist in Rose des Riceys, having vinified it before producing champagne. In 2016, Simon joined his father in the vineyard, and Émilie at the cellar and in commercialization. The estate is certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) with natural grassing, respect for biodiversity, and preference for natural and mechanical working methods. The domaine offers wine tourism activities including a Champagne Gaming experience, visits to their 17th-century cellar, and tastings.
