About the Winery

An essential estate of the Palette appellation, Château Crémade is set in a typical 18th-century Aix bastide that once hosted Paul Cézanne and Émile Zola. At the foot of Montagne Sainte-Victoire, the 9-hectare vineyard is rich with 25 grape varieties and farmed organically on the very particular terroir of Langesse limestone scree. Sophie and Philippe Moquet are the passionate owner-winemakers. The AOC Palette is one of the smallest in France with only 40 hectares total. The wines are characterized by their aromatic whites, gastronomic Roses, and age-worthy reds from rare, almost extinct grape varieties.

A 9-hectare organic estate in the tiny AOC Palette, set in an 18th-century bastide that hosted Cézanne and Zola.
