Vignobles sylvie et bertrand Bessou
9, Durand, 33570 Puisseguin, France
About the Winery
Heirs of a long winemaking history dating back to 1850, Sylvie Bessou and her brother Bertrand today manage 45 hectares of vines in the Libournais through three properties: Château Tabuteau (19 hectares in Lussac), Château Durand-Laplagne (14.5 hectares in Puisseguin), and Château Cap de Merle (10.5 hectares in Bordeaux Supérieur). The family has been winegrowers for seven generations, each passing down the art and taste of vine cultivation in respect of traditions. The estate is certified HVE and Terra Vitis since 2018.
“Seven generations of winegrowers since 1850, managing 45 hectares across three Saint-Émilion and Bordeaux properties.”
