About the Winery

Part of the Henri Bourgeois group since 2010, this 10-hectare estate is mainly located on the flint hillsides of Saint-Satur, where Augustinian monks established their first vines in the Middle Ages. Florent Bourgeois now manages the estate, drawing on his family heritage and global winemaking experiences to create expressive terroir wines. The domaine is almost entirely on silex (flint) soil, which gives the wines their characteristic gunflint aroma and mineral profile. The estate has been certified organic since 2010 and produces Sancerre Blanc, Sancerre Rouge from Pinot Noir, and Sancerre Rose.
